The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
West Central Iowa
* Effective this Monday night and Tuesday morning from 1155 PM
until 300 AM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible
SUMMARY...A fast-moving line of thunderstorms over western Iowa will
track eastward for the next 2-3 hours, continuing to pose a risk of
locally damaging wind gusts.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50
statute miles north and south of a line from 30 miles northwest of
Denison IA to 35 miles southeast of Fort Dodge IA. For a complete

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
